A recent addition to the firm as Southeast Business Development Manager , Rish brings over 35 years of management, marketing, advertising , telecommunications , broadcasting and public relations experience to Catalyst.
Prior to his joining Catalyst, Rish served as President of Telecash, LLC , a telecommunications and marketing firm in Birmingham, Alabama. He also served for 12 years as Managing Partner of Rainbow Advertising Group, a full-range marketing, public relations and advertising consulting company.
His extensive experience in the television, radio, print media and record industries spanned three decades. His career included stints as President, Owner, General Manager, Station Manager, Sales Manager , Marketing Director and Promotion Director at companies ranging from Atlantic Records , Charlotte, North Carolina; KINT AM/FM , El Paso, Texas; Polygram Records, Atlanta, Georgia; Fortune Media / WYDE-AM, Birmingham; Heritage Broadcast Broadcast Group, Atlanta; TV-Shopper, LLC, Gadsden, Alabama ; Ousley Television Entertainment Group, Birmingham.
Mr. Wood began his career at Southern Broadcasting’s WSGN-AM, Birmingham in 1971.He holds a B.S. in B.A. degree from Samford University in Birmingham.
Mr. Wood’s responsibilities at Catalyst include seeking and developing new clients, as well as helping our existing clients in developing synergies with each other. He concentrates on smaller business prospects and is located in Birmingham.
